Overview
Following the concept of minimalist windows for architecture and in order to meet the needs of its most demanding customers, Sosoares developed the minimalist Pivot system to complement the sliding component of OS. Thus it is possible to equip the building of a coherent language with respect to the frames. Specially designed for large windows, this new system allows to achieve the weight of 500kg per leaf.

Maximum weight is 500 kg per leaf manually and 650 kg with motorisation; maximum height 5000 mm and maximum width 1500 mm are subject to confirmation with the Sosoares Technical Department. Glazing is 21 / 42 / 56 mm tempered, double or triple. Secure denotes the optional 3-point electric lock kit — no resistance class is published for this system. OS-Pivot is Sosoares' minimalist pivoting door system, developed to complement the OS sliding range (OS-D+, OS-Triple) so a building can carry one coherent frame language across sliding and pivoting openings. It is designed for large, heavy leaves — up to 500 kg (650 kg motorised) — with a slim 71 mm frame profile and a thermal break for energy performance.

System integration
Heavy-leaf capacity — Up to 500 kg per leaf standard, 650 kg with motorisation, supported by dedicated 300 kg-rated floor pivots and a 500 kg pivot/hinge set.
Motorised operation — Optional motorisation, programmed via an OViEW console, with wireless OXI transmitter buttons for open/close/stop control.
Electric & multi-point locking — Optional 3-point electric lock kit (wireless or wired), with security cylinders and stainless-steel opening buttons; also available with a minimalist cubic handle.
Slim 71 mm frame profile — Frame and sash both 71 mm, matching the slim sightlines of the OS sliding range for visual consistency between opening types.
Finish range — Powder coated, Anodised or Bicolour finishes, using the same Qualicoat- and Qualanod-certified finishing lines applied across the whole Sosoares aluminium range.
Related OS-family systems — Designed specifically to complement OS-D+ [32mm] (double-track sliding) and OS-Triple [56mm] (triple-glazing sliding).

Grupo Sosoares originates from "Sosoares – Máquinas e Ferragens, Lda.", founded in 1979, and today comprises four companies (Sosoares S.A., Alfa Sul S.A., Alulider Lda., Portalex S.A.) covering design, development, production and commercialisation of aluminium frames and glass systems under the own brand "Sistemas Euro 2000®".
