Window System AWS 90.SI+
Overview
Schüco AWS 90.SI+ is the maximum-insulation aluminium window system for the 90 mm basic depth within the Schüco AWS modular system. Passive house certification is achievable with a specific profile combination. It can be configured as a punched opening, ribbon window or façade insert unit and combined with Schüco door systems, in side-hung, turn/tilt, tilt/slide, barrier-free and double-vent designs.

Bullet resistance is not a property of AWS 90.SI+ as sold. It is delivered by Schüco AWS 90 BR — a separate, individually tailored system based on the standard AWS 90.SI+ window, enhanced for bullet resistance using aluminium inserts in the outer chambers.

Built as an enhancement of the standard AWS 90.SI+ window using aluminium inserts in the outer chambers; the aluminium construction remains visually indistinguishable from a standard Schüco window.
Schüco publishes no resistance class on the current AWS 90 BR product page, so KR states none. The class is fixed per project during specialist fabrication. The FB 7 figure quoted on our Security Systems page is a Schüco platform ceiling, not an AWS 90 BR certification.
