Window System AWS 90.SI+

Overview

Schüco AWS 90.SI+ is the maximum-insulation aluminium window system for the 90 mm basic depth within the Schüco AWS modular system. Passive house certification is achievable with a specific profile combination. It can be configured as a punched opening, ribbon window or façade insert unit and combined with Schüco door systems, in side-hung, turn/tilt, tilt/slide, barrier-free and double-vent designs.

Bullet resistance is not a property of AWS 90.SI+ as sold. It is delivered by Schüco AWS 90 BR — a separate, individually tailored system based on the standard AWS 90.SI+ window, enhanced for bullet resistance using aluminium inserts in the outer chambers.

  • Built as an enhancement of the standard AWS 90.SI+ window using aluminium inserts in the outer chambers; the aluminium construction remains visually indistinguishable from a standard Schüco window.

  • Schüco publishes no resistance class on the current AWS 90 BR product page, so KR states none. The class is fixed per project during specialist fabrication. The FB 7 figure quoted on our Security Systems page is a Schüco platform ceiling, not an AWS 90 BR certification.
